Cherry Suede in Calgary for Touchdown Manitoba 2009

Advance ticket sales for Touchdown Manitoba in Calgary are now closed, but WE ARE NOT SOLD OUT.

There will be lots of tickets available for purchase at the door on Friday starting at NOON. $15, cash only, and exact change is appreciated. We do expect to sell out though, so get there early to avoid disappointment.

Touchdown Manitoba is a traditional Manitoba SOCIAL held annually in the Grey Cup host city. It’s a perennial favorite event on the Grey Cup festivities calendar, and is one of the “don’t miss” parties at every Grey Cup!

Your admission ticket INCLUDES a limited-edition TDMB 2009 lapel pin (while supplies last), and delicious “social buffet” with rye bread and kobasa (also while supplies last).

Back by popular demand, we’re THRILLED to once again feature CHERRY SUEDE as our headliner band! This will be Cherry Suede’s third consecutive appearance at Touchdown Manitoba – get ready to party because you are in for a treat!!

As always, we’ll also have a music DJ to keep you on the dance floor all afternoon, along with the usual lineup of top-notch guest entertainers including our own Labatt Blue Lightning Dance Team and the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band.

Touchdown Manitoba 2009 will be held at the BMO Centre (formerly the Roundup Centre), in the brand new and very spacious “Hall E”. Located in Stampede Park in downtown Calgary, adjacent to the Victoria Park Station, it’s one stop on the C-Train, or a short stroll or cab ride to get there from downtown.

Cherry Suede Limited Edition CD and Tshirt Now Available

We’re coming up on that time of year once again, and most of us are faced with the same question during the holidays… what to get?
How about a CD of all our officially released music up until now? Very limited (only 150 will be sold, ever). Sold at a great price, with cool packaging, free shipping, and assembled by elves in what feels like the North Pole.
Each of the CDs is signed by us, hand numbered and bundled with a handwritten personal thank you card.
Our goal was to make a rare item, even if it doesn’t make any money. More and more, we’re thinking of CDs as artifacts and souvenirs, as convenient and collectible packages for our music. We’re hoping that for a few people, this CD will be an example of that.
The CD includes all the songs we’ve released online. Songs like Not a Day Goes By, Learning How to Let You Go, In Pieces, as well as 2 additional songs that were never released on CD until now…for a total of 12 songs!
If you’ve downloaded some or all of these songs before, even better! What would make a happier gift for a music lover in your life? The details are here.
We’ve also added a limited edition tshirt, which you can get on its own here, or as part of a CD and Tshirt combo pack, which you can get here.
We’re sorry if they sell out before you get there, but first come first served seemed like a fair way to handle it.
