Based on a strong performance in Pittsburgh at the Rex Theatre with Johnny Winter in April and a very well received headline show at Moondog\u2019s last month, David has been added to the line up of the Pittsburgh Blues Festival. He will perform on the main stage on Saturday, July 22 at 6:00 Pm at Hartwood Acres alongside Ana Popovic, Leon Russell, Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith. The festival is an important fundraising event for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and tickets can be purchased by calling 412-488-8800 or on-line.<\/p>\n

The response to the U.S. release of \u201cSkeleton Key\u201d continues to be very strong. \u201cSkeleton Key\u201d hit # 2 on the XM Satellite Radio \u201cBluesville\u201d charts in the U.S. David and the band recorded seven songs live last month at the XM studios in Washington, DC with host Bill Wax. The tracks will be featured live on XM throughout the summer.<\/p>\n
