Well, last year the Velvetbox song, “Violet in the Snow” was the runner up in the National Songwriting Competition….and this year …”I’m Ugly ’cause You’re Beautiful” was just named one of the top five finalists!!!
One small difference though… PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY VOTE THIS YEAR!!!

Further, every night at 7 and 11 p.m. between now and the 16th of January when they will name the winner, the songs will be played back to back on 106.9 the bear radio station for your listening pleasure!
