Advance ticket sales for Touchdown Manitoba in Calgary are now closed, but WE ARE NOT SOLD OUT.
There will be lots of tickets available for purchase at the door on Friday starting at NOON. $15, cash only, and exact change is appreciated. We do expect to sell out though, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
Touchdown Manitoba is a traditional Manitoba SOCIAL held annually in the Grey Cup host city. It’s a perennial favorite event on the Grey Cup festivities calendar, and is one of the “don’t miss” parties at every Grey Cup!
Your admission ticket INCLUDES a limited-edition TDMB 2009 lapel pin (while supplies last), and delicious “social buffet” with rye bread and kobasa (also while supplies last).
Back by popular demand, we’re THRILLED to once again feature CHERRY SUEDE as our headliner band! This will be Cherry Suede’s third consecutive appearance at Touchdown Manitoba – get ready to party because you are in for a treat!!
As always, we’ll also have a music DJ to keep you on the dance floor all afternoon, along with the usual lineup of top-notch guest entertainers including our own Labatt Blue Lightning Dance Team and the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band.
Touchdown Manitoba 2009 will be held at the BMO Centre (formerly the Roundup Centre), in the brand new and very spacious “Hall E”. Located in Stampede Park in downtown Calgary, adjacent to the Victoria Park Station, it’s one stop on the C-Train, or a short stroll or cab ride to get there from downtown.

Andrew will be performing with David Gogo on three dates this weekend.
Cherry Suede will be heading down to New York City, NY and Asbury Park, NJ this weekend for some shows. The NYC show at Arlene’s Grocery is also where Andrew will be celebrating his birthday this year.
