Cherry Suede’s long-awaited new website is now in full release. The new site contains tons of never-before seen videos, free audio streams, and exclusive photos. The site also has an all-new lineup of Cherry Suede merchandise – and we’re getting into the holiday spirit by offering free shipping worldwide on all merchandise orders during the holiday season.

Our old website crashed just before our Up Close & Personal Tour kicked off in Manchester, England all the way back in April. Since then, we’ve been running a makeshift site to give us some breathing space so we could design a site that would provide a truly unique Cherry Suede experience for our fans. The new site is designed to provide new and old fans alike with a far deeper insight into life with the band than anyone could ever get just listening to a CD. We’ve tagged every piece of content with location, date, and featured people so that you can build your own library of Cherry Suede content based on what you want to see rather than what we want to push out.

The Toronto Blues Society will be celebrating its 15th annual Maple Blues Awards by honouring nationally and internationally recognized Canadian Blues artists from across the country on January 16, 2012. The nominees are recognized both for their talent as well as their contribution to the growing Canadian blues music scene.

Hosted by internationally recognized blues performers Treasa Levasseur and Shakura S’Aida, The 2012 Maple Blues Awards are taking place at Koerner Hall in Toronto on January 16th, 2012.
Public voting opens Friday, October 28 at midnight ADT & closes Saturday, December 10 at midnight PST. Blues fans can cast their votes online at www.mapleblues.ca.
The Toronto Blues Society is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Blues. The Maple Blues Awards is Canada’s national blues awards program. Its goal is to promote blues music across Canada, and to recognize outstanding achievement in the field.

Andrew will be performing with David Gogo at the first annual Class Axe Guitars Calabogie Blues & Ribfest August 13, at Calabogie Peaks Resort in the beautiful township of Greater Madawaska.
Blues artists and ribbers from across Canada and the US will gather August 12, 13 & 14 at Calabogie Peaks Resort to celebrate the first annual Class Axe Guitars Calabogie Peaks Blues & Ribfest, in partnership with 101.9 DAWG FM.
A portion of proceeds from the event will go to local and national charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Blues in Schools.
The event takes place August 12th, 13th and 14th at Calabogie Peaks Resort. Located on the shores of Calabogie Lake, one hour from Ottawa, the resort has on-site accommodation as well as lower mountain camping for the weekend.
